WEBB Takes Over, HOARE Builds a Gap!

It was all change after the second round of the Maxxis FIM SuperEnduro World Championship. While Junior maintains its round one leader, the SachsenArena in Riesa brought us a new leader in Prestige…

On a very tricky track, the reigning World Champion Cody WEBB (USA - KTM) performed excellently with two wins and one third place, giving him his first overall win of the season! He took advantage of the mistakes of his opponents Colton HAAKER (USA - Husqvarna) and Taddy BLAZUSIAK (PL - KTM) to grab the 24MX Leader Plate... he is now 2 points ahead of the Pole and 8 ahead of his fellow Californian.

In the Juniors, while he did not win the Grand Prix, William HOARE (GB - Husqvarna) put in a consistent performance on the night and now has a 27 point lead on his nearest rival, Tim APOLLE (D - KTM). While the German took victory at his home GP, the Brit benefitted from the difficulties of his rivals; David CYPRIAN (CZ - KTM) and Norbert Levente JOSZA (RO - Husqvarna), who were 2nd and 3rd coming into Germany, could manage only in 5th and 6th place in Riesa...
HOARE has therefore extended his 24MX Leader status in Junior!

Who will be able to stop William HOARE on his march towards the Junior title? And in Prestige the season is building up to be another extremely intense one with three top guns all going for the supreme crown: WEBB - BLAZUSIAK - HAAKER
See you on January 26 at the Caja Magica in Madrid for the third round of this 2019 SuperEnduro season!
