Billy BOLT in his own league

The world championship leader won his fourth Grand Prix in four races this weekend in Jerusalem. The Englishman marks the 2023 season with an indelible stamp.

For the second time in its history, Billy BOLT entered his name on the Israel Grand Prix prize list. BOLT once again showed great dominance. In the first final, he got the best start but did not really manage to distance himself from his runner-up in the championship standings, Jonny WALKER (GBR-Beta). Behind the leader with the red plate and WALKER we find Cody WEBB (USA-Sherco) in a fight with Taddy BLAZUSIAK (POL-GASGAS). The two men will be inseparable for many laps. It is the American who takes over the Pole and accompanies BOLT and WALKER on the podium of the first final. In the next race, Billy BOLT will quickly take control after overtaking Dominik OLSZOWY (POL-GASGAS) who took the holeshot. Jonny WALKER makes a rare but small error which causes him to fall behind BLAZUSIAK and WEBB still battling. This time, it is the Pole who gets the better of the Sherco rider. Billy BOLT wins a new round ahead of WALKER and the official GASGAS racer. In the last round, Cody WEBB seemed determined to take matters into his own hands, unfortunately for him things quickly went wrong. WEBB is the victim of a mechanical failure. Following a shock, its engine sowed its oil on the track of the Pais Arena in Jerusalem. WEBB is forced to step down and loses his advantage in the overall standings. BOLT who won the last final ahead of WALKER and BLAZUSIAK pocketed another success this season. He won ahead of his compatriot and the six-time Polish champion.

In the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship standings, Billy BOLT is now 36 points ahead of Jonny WALKER. He will have to finish the job in Gliwice (Poland) on March the 17th. Jonny WALKER is ahead of Cody WEBB and Taddy BLAZUSIAK only separated by 3 tiny points. The last Grand-Prix of the 2023 season promises to be spectacular.
