HAAKER, Airoh Holeshot Boss!

In 2022, the promoters of the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship have decided to reward, thanks to their partner Airoh, riders who have mastered the art of getting off to a good start. This season the “Airoh Holeshot” will reward the pilot (s) who take the first turn in the lead. This reward will be awarded in the top category: the Prestige but also in the Junior class in order to give additional motivation to the young guns of SuperEnduro.

After Billy BOLT (GBR-Husqvarna) and his victory in Poland, the FIM Superenduro World Championship stopped over last weekend in Budapest. But unlike Lodz, the evening was much more contested and several drivers stood out at the Airoh gate. In the first final Colton HAAKER (USA-Husqvarna) was the quickest, unfortunately for him a red flag was going to interrupt this final and a new start was given. This time it was Taddy BLAZUSIAK (POL-Gas Gas) who took the best start of a race he was going to win. In the second final, Will HOARE (GBR-Gas Gas) took advantage of the reverse grid to get the best start and pocket the holeshot of this heat. For the last final of the evening, the Californian Colton HAAKER stood out again and signed the last holeshot of Budapest. With his second place in this final, the official Husqvarna is named winner of the AIROH HOLESHOT of the Hungarian Grand Prix.

In the Junior class, the evening was also disputed, Dominik OLSZOWY (POL-GasGas) signed the first holeshot of the evening. Fabien POIROT (FRA-Husqvarna) pocketed the second of the evening and it was the Israeli Suff SELLA (KTM) who won the €300. A busy evening for the young man who signed his first podium in his second GP in the discipline.
