Mike BROWN Arrives in SuperEnduro!

So far this pre-season, the only American participant announced was reigning World Champion Colton HAAKER (USA - Husqvarna) there was no WEBB, no ROBERT, no TREMAINE! But now we can reveal we have another rider from the USA joining us in 2017. And a very well-known and successful one... Mike BROWN (Husqvarna) has just announced his participation in all four GPs!Brown

« It’s an idea that’s been running around in my head for a while... » Admitted BROWN « ... After watching all my compatriots participating in previous years, I thought this year... it's up to me! In addition, I think that the European tracks could suit my style of riding »
The experienced BROWN (44 years old) is well known in off-road racing circles. He tasted success in MX with two third places in the World 125cc class (1999, 2000), and became MX Champion in the USA in 2001. The rider hailing from Tennessee then took on Endurocross in 2009. That same year he also became Champion in the American WORCS series.
He was one of Taddy BLAZUSIAK (PL-KTM)’s biggest rivals at the time when the Pole peaked in Endurocross (BROWN finished runner-up to BLAZUSIAK in 2011 and 2013, 3rd in 2015...) And despite the five Endurocross titles taken by Taddy, their 2013 battle still remains one of the closest and most exciting duels of all time.

For his first season in SuperEnduro, "Brownie", helped by Super B, will receive bikes and support from legendary Team Manager Franco MAYR and his Jolly Enduro Team (JET). He will line up on the starting grid with a Husqvarna 350 4-stroke and will team up with young Italian hopeful Matteo BRESOLIN, also on a Husqvarna FE 350.
Given his impressive CV and vast experience, the American will join the likes of WALKER, BLAZUSIAK, LETTENBICHLER and ROMAN within the Grading List for 2017...
With a starting grid rich in talent, this season is definitely wide open and HAAKER will have to be at the top of his game in order to retain his crown!
