Billy the destroyer

Double world champion and FIM Superenduro World Championship leader Billy BOLT is a talented boy. He is also an ogre that devours everything that passes in front of its wheels. In the delicate exercise of the Akrapovic SuperPole, the Briton developed a real obsession with setting the best time at each Grand Prix. The tradition is still respected in Germany.

They are seven to participate in this perilous exercise that is the Akrapovic SuperPole. It is generally the first time of the evening that spectators are able to see the riders race on the track, adding a little pressure and expectation on the shoulders of the competitors. Diogo VIEIRA (POR- GASGAS) still managed to invite himself to the session, but still a bit short in terms of performance, the Portuguese set the 7th and last time of this event. He is preceded by Taddy BLAZUSIAK (POL-GASGAS). Disappointing performance from the Pole who used to excel in this exercise, the GasGas driver missed out in Riesa. He is 6th with a time of 48.959! Will HOARE (GBR-GASGAS) ranks 5th, being more than half a second faster than the Pole. Cody WEBB (USA-Sherco) is not comfortable on such a technical and tortuous course, 4th in the session (47.825). The American will be able to catch up in the race. Eddie KARLSSON (SWE-KTM) continues to surprise. In a lumberjack shirt as a racing outfit, the Swedish giant signs a convincing 3rd fastest time in Superpole, more in difficulty during the GP, KARLSSON remains one of the good recruits of 2023. Jonny WALKER (GBR-Beta) considerably improved his time by falling below 46 seconds per lap, signing an impressive 45.091, the Briton thought he had covered the essentials. Billy BOLT (GBR-Husqvarna) stole the show once again by shattering the stopwatch. He is the only one to go below the 44-second lap mark with an explosive: 43.566. Billy BOLT signs a new SuperPole Akrapovic.

The leader of the championship is obviously at the top of the classification of the competition.
