Invited by Henrik HERMANN - the President of MAMS (Hungarian Federation) - Mr. Jorge VIEGAS, President of the FIM joined us on Saturday evening during the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship’s Hungarian GP.
It was not the first SuperEnduro experience for the FIM president, as he also came to watch the Bilbao round last year, and Mr. VIEGAS was able to witness firsthand the enthusiasm of the SuperEnduro spectators. But he also took the opportunity in Hungary to discuss the future of the sport with the promoter of the Championship, ABC Communication. Many options were talked about, including an electric or even a "Kids" category similar to the one set up during the weekend by the Race 4U Promotion team.
Accompanied by Ignacio VERNEDA, FIM Deputy Chairman, Mr. Jorge VIEGAS also had the opportunity to meet the Hungarian Minister of Technology, Mr. Laszlo PALKOVIC, where electricity was also the hot topic!
