BOLT gives a new master class

In 2024, the promoters of the MotoZ FIM SuperEnduro World Championship have decided to reward, with their partner Airoh, riders who have mastered the art of getting off to a good start. The Airoh Holeshot rewards the riders who take the lead through the first turn. This award is awarded in the premier category: the Prestige but also in the Junior category in order to give additional motivation to the young SuperEnduro class.

The Polish GP is known for offering spectacular and technical tracks. The challenge for the competitors is always high. The starting area does not fail in this tradition. Once off the starting ramp, riders must cross two huge cement cylinders followed by two large sections of stones which break the rhythm. Once under the bridge, the riders continue with a heavy braking followed by a right turn and the Airoh gate.

Bolt

In the first final, Billy BOLT is the quickest to start, he is closely followed by Jonny WALKER (GBR-Beta) and Dominik OLSZOWY (POL-Rieju). The leader of the general classification is the first to cross the Airoh sign. He clinches his first holeshot of the evening. BOLT won the first round ahead of WALKER and Will HOARE (GBR-Beta). The second race is contested on a reverse grid, the fastest riders are on the second row. When the final begins, the young Mitch BRIGHTMORE (GBR-GASGAS) takes off best. He is well ahead of Alfredo GOMEZ (ESP-Rieju) upon arriving under the Airoh gate. The young Englishman signs the first holeshot of his Prestige career. The heat was won by Jonny WALKER ahead of BOLT and Manuel LETTENBICHLER (GER-KTM). The last race must decide between BOLT and WALKER for the final victory. As the ramp goes down, BOLT makes the ideal start. He is in the lead with WALKER right next to him. The two men will ride side by side until braking under the bridge. Billy BOLT makes the difference and takes the advantage under the Airoh gate. By winning this new holeshot, the three-time world champion wins the stake in Poland. Winner of the last round, he won the Polish Grand Prix ahead of WALKER and HOARE.

SELLA best performer in Junior

In the Junior category, Suff SELLA (ISR-KTM) consoled himself for the loss of the lead in the general classification by winning the Airoh holeshot in his class. The grand prize was won by Ashton BRIGHTMORE ahead of Roland LISZKA (HUN-KTM) and SELLA.

The next round of the MotoZ FIM SuperEnduro world championship is scheduled for January 6 in Riesa, Germany.
