Billy BOLT mid-season champion

The British rider continues his domination of the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship. By winning his 3rd Grand Prix of the season in as many races, he confirms that he has truly become the new reference in this sport. His unchallenged dominance may seem cruel but the Husqvarna rider is a hard worker and his performance is just the result of a man determined to stay the best.

In Budapest, BOLT won the 3 evening finals. His victories were not easy to draw, at least in the first two rounds. He is delayed in the first but he manages to take the lead after only 3 laps. He managed to get rid of Dominik OZSLOWY (POL-GASGAS), Cody WEBB (USA-Sherco) and Jonny WALKER (GBR-Beta). BOLT wins himself in front of these boys. In the second final and with the reversed grid, BOLT quickly manages to escape from the traps of the matrix of the first sector of the Hungarian layout. He temporarily takes the lead. He makes a small mistake which gives the advantage to WALKER and WEBB once again at a good pace. BOLT will once again have the last word. In the last round, BOLT takes his distance to win well ahead of WEBB and WALKER.

In the World Championship standings, BOLT confirms that the 24MX red plate is firmly attached to his Husqvarna! With 26 points ahead of his compatriot and 60 over the Sherco driver, BOLT can look forward to the second half of the season with serenity. He will have to confirm on March 2 in Jerusalem, but this is already obvious for Billy the Dog!

The Budapest Grand Prix falls into the nets of Ashton BRIGHTMORE who wins his second race in 3 GP. His brother Mitch retains the lead in the Junior category for 6 small points.
