Superpoleman!

This is surely how he will now have to be nicknamed. The double world champion, Billy BOLT, signed all the Superpoles of the 2022 season of the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship. Merciless in this exercise, the Briton has never failed this year.

For the last two GPs of the year there were, once again, 7 to participate in the Akrapovic Superpole on the first evening contested in Riesa. Tim APOLLE (GER-Beta) will stand out during the two evenings. He will be P7 in the first superpole in front of his home crowd (52.703).  He is preceded by the Portuguese Diogo VIEIRA (GasGas), the Lusitano is a regular in this exercise this season (51.398).  Ahead of him Cody WEBB (USA-Sherco) can't do better than P5 in 49.537.  The infernal quartet will be composed of Jonny WALKER (GBR-Beta) in 49.348.  He is preceded by the Polish legend Taddy BLAZUSIAK (GasGas) who passes under the bar of 49 seconds per lap (48.261) on the very demanding track laid out by the Riesa club.  They will only be two to manage to go below the 48-second mark. Colton HAAKER (USA- Husqvarna) in 47.678 and his Husqvarna colleague the unavoidable Billy BOLT (GBR) who sticks almost a full second to the other official Husky (46.271).

In the fifth and final round of the championship, Cody WEBB and Taddy BLAZUSIAK both withdrew due to injury.  These absences will offer great opportunities to drivers who were not asking for so much. Thereby 7th time of the 2nd evening Ty CULLINS (USA-TM).  For his only appearance this season, the American proves that his sense of attack is always sharp. Tim APOLLE is taking part in his second Superpole of the weekend.  He did not improve on his mark from the day before, he was overtaken by his compatriot Kevin GALLAS (GasGas). Absent this season, GALLAS returned to compete in his National Grand Prix.  He made a good comeback with this 5th place (50.801). In front of him and P4 we found Diogo VIEIRA in 49.930. Colton HAAKER this time had to give way to Jonny WALKER for a good big second.  But the strongest once again was the « missile » Billy BOLT which won its 5th SuperPole Akrapovic with style as it posted the best time in the reverse direction of rotation compared to the day before (45'326).  We know the end of the King Billy story…

Final ranking:

1.Billy BOLT 15pts, 2. Colton HAAKER 8pts, 3. Jonny WALKER 6pts, 4. Taddy BLAZUSIAK 3pts,…
