A highly anticipated German GP with 2 super-riders from the home country: Manuel LETTENBICHLER and Kevin GALLAS!

Less than a month after the opening round of the 2018 SuperEnduro (SEWC) season, the best international SuperEnduro riders are back to compete on a new extreme course in the German city of Riesa.

The SachsenArena, which plays host to the SuperEnduro for the 4th time, will welcome 7000 spectators!
1,000 more than in 2017, which proves the increasing success of this spectacular show. This year the locals will be able to cheer on Manuel LETTENBICHLER (Junior World Champion 2016), who made an exceptional start to the season in the Prestige class in Poland. And Kevin GALLAS, the German Husqvarna rider who is battling it out in the Junior class. As well as a race for the national riders, which could uncover new local talent as they take on the difficult track.

This second round of the SEWC is even more eagerly anticipated than usual after the surprising results at the season opener in Poland:

Prestige: 1. Taddy BLAZUSIAK 53 pts; 2. Cody WEBB 51 pts; 3. Billy BOLT 44pts; 4. Manuel LETTENBICHLER 38pts; 5. Alfredo GOMEZ 34pts; 5. Colton HAAKER 34pts; 7. Danny MCCANNEY 30pts; 8. Jonny WALKER 26pts; 9. Alex SALVINI 22pts; 10. Cristobal GUERRERO 18pts...

Junior: 1. Kyle FLANAGAN 43pts; 2. Matteo CAVALLO 42pts; 3. Emil JUSZCZAK 39pts; 4. Kevin GALLAS 38pts; 5. Diego HERRERA 32pts; 6. Oskar KACZMARCZYK 30pts; 6. Leon HENTSCHEL 30pts; 6. William HOARE 30pts; 9. Ignacio FERNANDEZ 28pts; 10. Marco MESSNER 20pts...

The current World Champion Colton HAAKER, and Jonny WALKER, have therefore fallen behind, while Taddy BLAZUSIAK is back at the top of the standings after a year of absence! There is expected to be a close fight among the Juniors too: with Kevin GALLAS, keen to impress his home fans, and willing to do whatever he can to take over from Kyle FLANAGAN at the front!
