The Knight is Young…

The unexpected return of David KNIGHT (GB - Gas Gas) in Malaga has been one of the novelties of the 2018 Maxxis FIM SuperEnduro World Championship.

The giant from the Isle of Man will line up again at the 4th round in Bilbao on March 3rd, this time with some more testing sessions under his belt following his "last minute" entry on a 300cc Gas Gas two days before Malaga. But there’s a twist… "KNIGHTER" will be accompanied by his young nephew for Bilbao’s event!

Indeed, Tom KNIGHT, just 16 years old, will be in the Junior category for the 4th round of the Championship! Tom is one of the sons of Juan KNIGHT, David's older brother, who was one of the leading figures of British Enduro in the early 2000s (British Champion in 2002 and 2003, winner of the Weston Beach Race, etc...) .
Tom KNIGHT resides, as do the whole family, in Ramsey on the Isle of Man and he started riding a bike from the age of 5, participating in trials until age 14. He has since been competing Enduro, and has had two successful seasons on a 250cc Gas Gas - he is currently leading the Extreme Enduro Championship in England in the Youth category.

Highly motivated for this challenge, Tom KNIGHT will add an exciting element of the unknown into the fourth round of the Championship in Bilbao!
Will we find out if “Success is in the genes”?
