Mid-season 2022 has arrived

The third round of the 2022 season of the FIM Superenduro World Championship already marks the mid-point of the 2022 financial year. Although Billy BOLT (GBR-Husqvarna) was dominant in Poland and Hungary, the Briton is still under the threat of many pilots. The season remains fully open. This Israeli stage marks a major milestone in the history of motorsport. The Superenduro being the first world discipline on two wheels disputed on Israeli soil.  On the way to history !

Will Billy BOLT remain conqueror?

For this great premiere, the 3rd evening of the season will only be contested by the Prestige category. Neither Junior nor European Championship will enter the evening. But the program promises to be sumptuous. It will start at 6 p.m. with the Akrapovic SuperPole. Who will be able to challenge Californian Colton HAAKER (Husqvarna) for first place? This first highlight will be followed by 3 grand finals which should give us the 3rd winner of the season.

After winning the first two grands prix of the season, Husqvarna official Billy BOLT arrives in Jerusalem as the big favourite. But the Brit will have to be wary of fierce competition from Colton HAAKER. The American wants to make people forget a lackluster Budapest GP. He is still looking for his first success in 2022. Why not do it in a new territory where everyone starts on the same foot ?  A state of mind shared by the legend Taddy BLAZUSIAK (POL-GasGas). The six-time world champion was flamboyant in Budapest (2nd overall). He managed to win his first final of the season.  He will need a little more regularity to defeat Billy BOLT.  What if the surprise came from Jonny WALKER (GBR-Beta)? Agile and diligent on the handlebars of his private Beta, the Englishman has shown himself able to keep up with the best. Very close to victory, WALKER will try to regain first place and confirm its good place in the world championship standings.

Cody WEBB (USA-Sherco) is still hoping to get his season off the ground. A podium would be enough to give the official Sherco driver the confidence and the luck that he has lacked since the start of the season. With the championship halfway there, it's now or never for the other American to come out of the woods.

The FIM Superenduro World Championship will see the return of Pol TARRES (ESP-Yamaha) on Thursday. Absent in Budapest, TARRES will want to take advantage of the Israeli round to remind everyone what he is made of. He will have to be watched in the group of pursuers.  He is always capable of a good perf. Will HOARE (GBR-GasGas) will not be on the trip. But the prestige category will record the arrival of new faces for this premiere evening. Suff SELLA is making the leap from the Junior category to compete against the “Big Boys” for his home GP.  The young Israeli will be able to surf on the confidence acquired with his first podium during the last GP. The mission will be above all to accumulate experience for the local rider. Norbert ZSIGOVITS the Hungarian will also be present in the Pais Arena

Jerusalem is preparing to host its first motorsport world championship with great fanfare. This is the first time that a motorsport discipline has arrived in the capital.  The 11,000 potential spectators should discover a spectacular show.

The whole evening is of course to be followed live on SuperEnduro.tv from 6:00 p.m.
