A new tyre brand which has been present in SEWC and Hard Enduro championships since last season, X-Grip has decided to set up their own team for 2019, the X-Grip Racing Team!
The team from Graz, Austria, have made a big impact on the transfer market by signing 2017 Junior World Champion, Blake GUTZEIT (RSA).
8th in 2018, the South African is one of the strongest riders in the Prestige category and will certainly aim for the Top 5 during the five rounds of the season riding his Husqvarna 300 TEi.
In the Junior category, the new Austrian team has appointed Nobert Levente JOSZA (RO). The Romanian, who surprised many people in 2018 by taking a podium (2nd) at the final round in Sweden, should be among the main favourites for the title in 2019!
Finally, the X-Grip Racing team will also be present in the European Cup through the rookie Robert SCHARL (D).
The all-new Austrian X-Grip Racing team appears to have a strong team for its very first season in the FIM Maxxis SuperEnduro World Championship... GUTZEIT and JOSZA will certainly try to shine from the 8th December in Krakow!
